ladegerat und bord accu 15 volt ?

hallo allen,

when i put the 220 volt input on the camper, the batterycharger puts 15 volt on the household batterie , i can hear the battry start to boil !!

it's the original charger , the bordcontrol says the current is only 11.5 volt's , but if i messure the battery there's more then 15 volt on it .

can somebody help ?

The normal Battery-Charge Volt are 14,4.
(Normaly between 13,8 and 14,4)
If the Volt are higher, the batterycharger is broken.

If the Battery is to hot, maybe it is also broken, oxyhydrogen will be produced.

Be carfully, this steam is high explosiv!

i think the charger is not regulated very well by the BCC , i read in another thread that there's a relay in the bcc witch cut's the charging current.

a control circuit which switches about the relay r1 the loading process of the battery is on the board. There are Trimmer to the adjusting of the switch thresholds. I have belonged that this has already done somebody. I would dare there personally not in it, but insert rather immediately a modern battery charger with identity line IUoU like Hans.
