Hatches from the outside?

I'm now about to rebuild the bed in the rear to make it higher up and with more room below. But I have the type 600 with no hatches from the outside. I want to mount hatches from the outside so I have access to the room under the bed from the outside.

Has anyone here any idea where I can obtain such hatches for retrofitting?

i think you won't get any original hatches. But you still can buy normal ones at your local caravan dealer.

In germany there are also many Internet shops selling caravan parts www.fritz-berger.de/fbonline/__shop__/pr...ppen63096/detail.jsf . But you have to pay attention with the rounding of the walls.

Yes - I got an hatch from a local dealer.

Ended up with a hatch from Thetford.

40 X 100 cm.

It was an absolutely good help to see the pictures from Wilfried, - and it was absolutely necessary to flatten out the area where the hatch was to be installed. Way more work than expected, but the final product is good!

I gave started to build up the bed and put a lot of work to move the fan to new location. So far so good!

I will take some photos during this and maybe post my experiences here.
